The Man Behind the Tracks
Rich Slajda has loved all things trains since he was a kid growing up in Westport, Connecticut. His 50-year career as an electrician was defined by understanding how things work and making sure they did so to the highest standards – whether he was fixing subway cars in Brooklyn, lighting up stages in Stamford, or maintaining schools in Connecticut’s Naugatuck Valley. Throughout it all, Rich has cultivated his passion and expertise in O-scale model railroading, which he currently puts to use as a member of the Club and the owner of Slaj Trains.
